A unique corporate fundraising offer - new for 2016!

  • Looking for a unique team-building event with great marketing opportunities?
  • Want to help Cumbria recover from the aftermath of Storm Desmond?
  • Need to deliver outputs that contribute to CSR reporting?

Achieve all three with a bespoke Challenge Event for Fix the Fells (as seen on BBC’s Countryfile!)

Fix the Fells is a long term project to repair and maintain hundreds of much loved and well used paths in the Lakeland fells. The repair of highly eroded footpaths ensures that they remain safe and accessible, and prevents soil erosion into streams and lakes. The project involves a huge amount of skill and volunteer effort (1,550 volunteers days and counting so far this year).

The recent storms have had a big impact on footpaths in the Lakes so we need to raise funds now more than ever to support Fix the Fells.

We’ve teamed up with local challenge event leaders Exped Adventure to create a challenge event with a difference. Not only will your colleagues be challenged to climb 11 of the Lake Districts most famous and beautiful fells in just 1 day, they will be working with world-renowned footpath restoration experts to help maintain some of the paths as they go.

We are offering this unique experience for a team of 10 at a preferential rate of £140 per person, including all risk assessments and logistics, accommodation in the Lake District, training, and your very own mountain guides every step of the way. All we ask is that each participant makes a commitment to fundraising a minimum of £500 for Fix the Fells.

There would be significant marketing opportunities for you in the run up to and during the event, and we will work with all of our partners in the Lake District to make sure you receive maximum acknowledgement of your company’s fundraising efforts.

If you are interested, we would love to hear from you. The first step will be for you to identify your preferred event dates (we recommend between May and October). If you have any questions please get in touch: email Sarahdale@nurturelakeland.org or call 01539822622.
