Join us for a unique hour long version of Terry Abraham's new film ‘Life of a Mountain: Blencathra’ at an after dark, outdoor cinematic experience.
We're delighted to be working with fundraiser business George Fisher in Keswick and the global outdoor gear brand Patagonia to bring outdoor solar powered cinema to the Lakes!
Using a mobile solar powered cinema supplied by Patagonia, we're showing a 60 minute version of ‘Life of a Mountain: Blencathra’. The film will be introduced by Terry Abraham. Proceeds from the film screening will go to Nurture Lakeland to help us support the maintenance of our fells.
Tickets are already selling quickly so booking is essential!
Catch the film on Friday 20th May at Threlkeld Cricket Club, in the shadow of Blencathra itself - tickets £12.50 online and instore www.georgefisher.co.uk 017687 72178. Film programme starts at 9pm with an interview with Terry Abraham. A bar is available at the venue.
NEWLY ADDED: There will be a Patagonia Swap Meet at Threlkeld from 8pm- bring any outdoor brand of jacket and echange for a pre-loved Patagonia item for the bargain price of £10, which will be donated to charity.
PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED SCREENINGS ON SATURDAY 21ST AND SUNDAY 22ND AT BROCKHOLE HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER FORECAST
