Nurture Lakeland's Juniper planting Christmas Day Out - Dec 2012
The Nurture Lakeland team's Christmas day out was spent digging deep and planting Juniper trees (that looked a little like mini Christmas trees!) as part of a Windermere Reflections project. Our hard work was rewarded by a tasty lunch in the Sticklebarn.

Visit Give Protect Conference - October 2012
To pass on our experience of 18 years of visitor giving and to stimulate knowledge-sharing among destinations and organisations that can benefit from visitor giving, we organised a hugely successful Visitor Giving conference that welcomed delegates from every corner of the United Kingdom and beyond.
Keswick Mountain Festival - May 2012
We had a great couple of days in the sunshine chatting to people at the Keswick Mountain Festival. We were the Festival's Charity Partner this year and it was a great opportunity to spread the word about visitor giving and some of the projects we support like Fix the Fells and the butterflies of Dubwath Silver Meadows. Author Mark Richards also spoke in a giant tipi in support of our work.
