Drive Less See More Visitor Attractions Pilot: 21st September 2012
A pilot project is getting under way to see what role visitor attractions can play in encouraging sustainable tourism. We are pleased to be working with Lakes Aquarium, Dove Cottage, Brockhole and Hill Top on developing information to encourage their visitors to explore the rest of the vicinity, thereby reducing their travel and potentially benefitting other businesses in the area.
Are there any walks, local pubs, restaurants or other hidden gems in these areas that you think should be included? Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your suggestions or post on our Facebook page.
