Project Officer for Low Carbon Cottages

Nurture Lakeland in partnership with the University of Cumbria is offering an exciting opportunity for a graduate or postgraduate wanting to work on an innovative carbon management project within the tourism sector in the Lake District, Cumbria.

The role will involve co-ordinating our Low Carbon Cottages project. In liaison with partners you will produce a "toolkit" for reducing carbon emissions in self-catering properties by engaging owners in best practice and co-ordinating the installation and monitoring of energy efficiency improvements. The role will also involve communicating these messages via  local media, social media and PR channels.

This is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) appointment in which the candidate will be supported in their role by University academics while working full-time at Nurture Lakeland. The University of Cumbria will employ the post holder.
