Secret Windermere – much more than just a pretty place

A good chunk of the Nurture Lakeland Team, together with 60 other locals and visitors, really enjoyed an evening ‘Bat and Ghost Walk’ organised by the Friends of the Lake District and The National Trust though the Secret Windermere Project.   Secret Windermere events are happening throughout Windermere, helping people explore the quieter unknown areas of Windermere as part of Windermere Reflections.

Visitor Payback Conference, more questions than answers!

Judging by the response from delegates at the conference organised by the Campaign for National Parks at the Sheffield Hallam University on Monday, there’s clearly a huge amount of curiosity and interest out there about our Visitor Payback scheme here at Nurture Lakeland.
